Walking baby

What a joy a baby is! All that fun, laughter and the first steps. Toddlers come and go, pack and frolic, so they need a lot of attention. But who will do the housework, put the baby to sleep for the night and who will change the baby?

Walking Baby is a cooperative board game. The game is set in an eco household, so nappies are changed using colourful washable nappies. You have a long weekend to keep the rooms tidy while also keeping your baby happy. Every day is another challenge, because your baby always wants something different.

In Walking Baby each player controls a family member: mom, dad, grandma or grandpa. There are 8 rooms of the house where they can move around. And of course, there is the baby who always wants something and makes a lot of mess around the house. The game lasts for 3 days, that’s 12 rounds (shifts of the day). In each round new housework tasks appear and the baby has new wishes to be fulfilled to keep up his/her mood.

Players win if they last until the evening of the 3rd day. But they will lose if the baby starts to cry or the housework overflows.

Players roll 2 dice simultaneously (starting player also rolls the baby dice). The throw shows the number of action points that can be used to move a character between rooms, perform housework tasks, change nappy, fulfil needs of baby cards or cheer up the baby. Plan your actions because you’ll get more tired as evening approaches. Time for a coffee! Use it wisely to gain energy for the night shift.

Can you cope with even the most chaotic situation? Work together and hold on for three days to win! Your reward is a weekend spa! 😉

There are two game modes to play in Walking Baby: FAMILY and FROLIC mode.

Tilting at Windmills

Game Description

“A knight and his faithful sidekick amble on a dirty, empty road. The scorching sun blurs the boundaries of land and sky at the horizon. Only the choir of crickets breaks the tedious silence between the two travelers. The knight looks up and sights something in the distance. A gleam in his eyes appears from excitement.
– Another giant! Quickly, my lance! – yells at his faithful companion.
– But my good sir, it’s only a windmill! – blinks the stumpy man towards the distant silhouette.”

Tilting at Windmills is a two-player game in which players control Don Quixote and Sancho Panza. The two characters move towards each other on the playing board. Players use movement cards to move either the knight or his companion. One round lasts until the two characters meet on the road. At the end of each round, a player gets a windmill/giant card with a victory point on it.

There are two ways of winning the game. Either you collect more points than your opponent, or you force them to break all their lances; a player loses lances if they acquire a card with its giant side. The key tactic for this game is to force encounters at the right place and in the right time by adding up movement cards.

Forestaurant

Game Description

Forestaurant is a cooperative board game in which the players are tasked to manage a restaurant for animals. Various species can visit your restaurant, and you have to be aware of their different tastes: watch where you seat them, which meal you suggest them, and how you prepare the food.

Your goal is to earn the respect of every species. To accomplish this, you have time until closing, which comes after the deck runs out. And watch out, if the guests are discontent, you can lose the game earlier!

Players take turns one after the other, and their turn consists of three phases. In the Activation phase, a row or column of tables are activated based on the top card of the deck. The activated guests may advance to their next state or their stress levels can increase. The second phase is the Action phase, where the player can take various actions: seat new guests, take orders, prepare and serve meals, and buy ingredients. The player has to play a card for each action, and based on the type of the card, the interaction can decrease or increase the stress level of the guest. In the Ending phase, the player discards the ingredients exceeding the storage limit, and draws new cards. The most interesting part is the preparation of meals, where other players can also play cards and pay ingredients to help the current player.
